As 2024 draws to a close I wanted to extend a personal thank you to all of our wonderful customers. It's been a big year for us at AARVEN. We opened our second store in Rye in May in collaboration with our sister brand Hiro + Wolf. We waved bon voyage to our co-founder Bee, who's next adventures we are excited to see.
AARVEN received recognition by House & Gardens as one of the Top 50 independent stores in the UK and you can now find AARVEN goods stocked by even more of your favourite stores across the UK and abroad after a successful first trade show at Top Drawer.
Looking forward to 2025 we are excited to launch our new organic tableware collection that has been hand block printed in Jaipur and will compliment new designs that I have been working on with our artisans in Kenya and Ghana.
While business continues as usual in the south of England my family and I are making a big move to Northern Ireland in the Spring where we will have the space to grow our operations and support more artisans through AARVEN's work.
I am excited for our first Book Club in Margate 'Global Readers' and watch this space for lots more store events to celebrate our loyal locals over the next few months.
This year AARVEN raised £2772 for our partner charities, including African Promise and Margate RNLI, and we have plans to exceed this in 2025 by continuing to donate 2% of our store and online sales and through our growing programme of community events.
Last but not least I want to say thank you to our dedicated, passionate and inspiring team, here in the UK and across Africa and in India.
