We've been on the road in Kenya, and it's been an incredible adventure so far.

We began at the awe-inspiring Kitengela Glass, just outside Nairobi, before spending time with our jewellery makers, wood carvers and weavers in the city - the hands behind so many of the pieces you know and love.

Then we drove a full day, out through arid plains and up into lush mountain terrain, to reach our soapstone carvers in Kisii. It's a long way to go and seeing exactly where our soapstone is quarried and carved and meeting the people who do it, has been worth every mile.

And there's so much more to come. Over the next few weeks we'll be sharing new collections as they come to life and introducing you to more of the people behind each AARVEN design.
