Located just a stones throw from our King Street store, Hantverk & Found would usually be most people's go-to for a romantic Valentine's dinner in Margate. Serving up high-quality seafood with influences from around the globe alongside a fantastic wine and drinks menu. During lockdown they have been serving up mouth-watering sushi available for collection, and this Valentine's Day they'll be doing a special Sunday sushi service. However, their usual menu contains traditional Japanese dishes such as vegan-friendly ramen, salmon chirashi, gyoza, local scallop nigiri and sushi platters. Olby's offer an exciting, mouth-watering from classic Caribbean dishes to inventive seafood plates, there is definitely something to please everyone. But the real star of the show are their 'Outrageous Roasts', known to many as #BestRoastOnTheCoast! From the vegetarian-friendly Butternut Veg Medley, with roasted squash, crumbled feta, sundried tomato, five veg, proper spuds & calalloo mash to the Carib Seasoned Pork, these roasts really are epic. Especially with this years Valentine's Day falling on a Sunday, we can't think of anything more romantic than snuggling up with a hearty roast, a glass of wine and none of the washing up! The wonderfully talented Eady is cooking up a special Valentine's Day feast that sounds absolutely delicious! With a focus on natural and often homegrown ingredients, Eady's food is wholesome yet packed with flavour and she offers the choice between a vegetarian or vegan menu. The Valentine's menu includes such treats as mushroom Manti dumplings with garlic yoghurt, mint and smokey paprika sauce and vegan cheese and spinach pastries with maple and nigella seed dressing amongst a whole host of other exciting dishes. You can also order this special menu for as many people as you like, so whether you're celebrating alone or with the kids, you don't have to miss out on some tasty food! Fabulous, creative food from the team behind the much beloved Margate Supper. New Street Bistro is open for Sunday Roast takeaway every week between 12 to 4pm. Their delicious offerings include Roast beef of Hereford Sirloin, roast free-range chicken or vegetarian nut roast. All roasts comes with roast potatoes, glazed carrots, tender stem broccoli, gravy, Yorkshire pudding & cauliflower cheese.
