There's no joy quite as great as sipping on a comforting warm drink on a crisp winter's day. As well as being a fabulous way to keep warm, hot drinks are also completely delicious! So join us as we take you through some of our all time favourite hot drink recipes...

Tahini Hot Chocolate
For 2 servings:
- 470ml unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons agave syrup
- 4 tablespoons tahini
- 45g dark chocolate, chopped
- Vegan whipped cream (optional)
- Melt the chocolate in a bain marie.
- Slowly add the tahini, almond milk and agave syrup. Stir until everything is combined.
- Serve in your favourite mug and top with a swirl of tahini or vegan whipped cream and chocolate shavings!

Spiked Chai
For 2 servings:
- 350ml hot water
- 2 black tea bags
- 2 crushed cardamom pods
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 star anise
- 1 whole cinnamon stick
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 300ml oat milk
- 2 teaspoons agave syrup
- 60ml bourbon or whiskey (optional)
- Add your hot water and tea bags to a pan, let the tea infuse for 2-3 minutes
- Add your spices and sweetener to the pot, followed by the oat milk
- Let everything heat up and combine
- Add your bourbon just before serving

Mulled Apple Juice
For 2 servings:
- 500ml apple juice (swap for cider for adults!)
- Peel of 1 orange
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 whole cloves
- 2 star anise
- Sugar or agave syrup, to taste
- Simmer the apple juice with the strips of orange peel, cinnamon stick and cloves for about 5-10 mins until all the flavours have infused. Sweeten to taste.
- Serve with whatever garnish you like! We love a clove-studded orange slice in ours
