We fell in love with Daniela Cadore's paired back aesthetic on instagram. This London based Creative Consultant has a passion for handmade products and a great eye for mixing a minimalist aesthetic with artisanal flair. We asked Daniela to select her favourite pieces from our store and style them within her home for our latest inspirational edit.
MINAMALIST CHIC x ARTISANAL FLAIR
I’m a big admirer of artisans. There is something truly magical about creating something using your own hands. Something unique and enduring. When shopping, I’m always enamoured by the pieces carrying a story. The pieces I’ll wear, use, and treasure for years to come.
I first came across Artisans & Adventurers while searching for a basket a few weeks ago. I was looking for an interesting yet small container to help me organise my daughter’s drawers. She is a one year old and has more socks than I ever had in my entire life. I fell in love with the Kenyan woven baskets. Just what I needed! Although, I probably spent at least half an hour browsing until I chose mine. I was in doubt between a vibrant piece to add a hint of colour to the bedroom or a neutral one. I decided to go for the neutral look, and now looking at the basket in context, I’m very happy with my decision.
I have always loved jewellery, since I was a child. Still today I can recall my ecstasy when borrowing my mum's necklaces to go to the nursery. Over the years, my style has changed many times, but jewellery has always had a strong presence in my identity. In the past, I enjoyed bold pieces, but nowadays I feel good with simple shapes and fewer lines. Geometric shapes will always be my passion, so Artisans & Adventurers Hexagon Bangle was love at first sight.
For some things in life, being functional is not enough. Beauty is required. Salad servers are one of these things, and I’m in love with my new ones in wood and batik.
