To celebrate this year's Fashion Revolution Week taking place between 24th-28th April, we are hosting an evening of film, ethically sourced nibbles and talks.
Fashion Revolution is a global initiative that looks at brands and their production processes in an attempt to regularise fair working conditions and sustainability throughout the production cycle.
We will be hosting a screening of 'The True Cost’ documentary at home in our Columbia Road store together with a Q&A with friend of the house, actress and eco-advocate Lauren McCrostie. The aim is to raise awareness of the importance of ethical production processes and ways to choose responsibly as consumers, while having fun and listening to everyone's ideas.
" The excuse of ‘I can’t find anything sustainable/there is such a limited choice of ethically made clothes is so outdated. There is a sustainable option for practically everything now, its just about looking." Lauren McCrostie
