The saucer shape is the one that tends to stop people in their tracks outside our Margate store. Wider and lower than a globe at 60cm across, it commands a room in a way that most pendant shades simply don't.
The Water Lilies design is our founder, Amy's, own illustration, hand-screen-printed onto FSC-certified recycled paper at Mohit's Sedex-certified workshop in Jaipur. Each shade is folded into its origami form by hand by a team of skilled artisans. Amy visits to work directly with Nishant on colour, mixing in person, getting straight to printing and the results speak for themselves.
The saucer is the statement shade of our collection. It works over a dining table, in a wide hallway, or as the centrepiece of a sitting room. The Water Lilies pattern, soft and botanical, is Amy's interpretation of a classic motif which diffuses warmly when lit.
It arrives in a hand-printed gift box telling the story of the artisans who made it, making it one of our most-gifted pieces for new home owners and anyone with a room that needs a focal point.
