These charming carved Kenyan soapstone hearts make a wonderful gift for a loved one, or as a gorgeous addition to your interior decorations.
Soapstone is a beautifully tactile metamorphic rock with an appearance similar to marble. The natural variations in the surface are part of its unique beauty. Soapstone is a natural material, therefore each bowl will have a unique colouring and pattern.
Our soapstone products are polished and treated with natural beeswax.
WHO MADE YOUR SOAPSTONE CARVING?
All of our contemporary soapstone products are hand carved in a small town in the South West of Kenya. Our products are carved by a youth self help group, started in 1996 and has 40 members.
