The Crocodile hook packs a good dose of character into a small brass casting — a nod to the confident animal designs George's workshop does so well, equally at home holding a lead by the back door.

Who made your hook?

Cast by George Kofi and his team in Kumasi, the capital of Ghana's Ashanti Region. George has been practising lost-wax brass casting for around 15 years, learning the craft from his uncle, and has worked with AARVEN since 2018. He runs the workshop with his business partner Monica and five other artisans.
