Ghanaian Handwoven Bolga Basket Bag with Handles – Zabzugu
Couldn't load pickup availability
Bring colour, texture and practicality into everyday life with AARVEN's Ghanaian handwoven Bolga basket bag — a structured shopper that's as at home on a market trip as it is at the beach or as everyday storage.
Handwoven from durable veta vera (elephant grass), combining strength with a surprisingly light feel. Double handles give a comfortable grip, and the generous size makes it genuinely versatile for daily use.
The 'Zabzugu' colourway is a bold interplay of black and natural tones — graphic, but grounded, and equally at home in a contemporary or relaxed interior.
Who made your basket?
Handwoven by women weavers based in the Upper East Region of Ghana, near the Burkina Faso border, using veta vera which grows abundantly in this hot, dry area. The co-operative is led by Agana, who works closely with the weavers.
