Authentic Kantha Indian large double sized quilt. Meticulously constructed, each Kantha quilt was individually hand stitched with an outstanding amount of effort and time. It is an ancient technique mastered throughout the generations, originating from India and dated back to the pre-Vedic age (pre-1500 BCE).
This quilt is large enough to cover both queen and double sized beds. Each quilt is reversible and comes packaged in its own drawstring bolster bag. These quilts are cool to sleep beneath in summer months, provide additional warmth in the winter, and make perfect throws for sofas.
