This wonderful fabric fan is both decorative and practical. Feeling cool is made easy with the large surface area and sturdy, ergonomic handle designed for ultimate comfort.
Hand made by Joseph and his team in Ghana using high quality, locally made African Wax fabric, making it hardwearing and a once-in-a-lifetime purchase. Crafted using traditional techniques which have been passed down through the generations, preserving cultural methods.
Unique to us, each fan has been skilfully stitched with sisal, dyed to match the fabric. Sisal is also used as an alternative to leather to wrap the fan's handles. Comes with a matching storage bag perfect for keeping your fan in pristine condition whilst on your travels.
In colder months hang onto your wall for a bohemian pop of colour.
Our continuous partnership with the incredible Ghanaian artisans ensures a consistent income for many families within the wonderful community. No two fans are exactly the same, making yours completely original!
WHO MADE YOUR FAN?
Our range of colourful Ghanaian wax cotton fans are expertly handmade for us by Joseph, also known as Kalala, a friendly local who runs a small business making fabric fans in Accra.
The fans were inspired and influenced by the folding fans from Asia, using beautiful African wax cotton prints to design some decorative and practical pieces.
