A true testament to cultural tradition and functional beauty, this woven storage basket was crafted by women artisans in rural Kenya. Your round rattan basket offers you a stunning storage solution that not only enhances your living space but also empowers local communities.

Unlike synthetic material baskets, our Kenyan sisal baskets are meticulously handwoven using natural Sisal fibres, renowned for strength and durability. This ensures your storage basket is not only visually charming, but is built to last, making it an eco-friendly choice for your home.

Incredibly versatile and serves multiple purposes in your home – check out some of our ideas for how you can use it:

  • Woven plant pot
  • Woven laundry basket
  • Basket for logs
  • Children’s toys storage basket
  • Basket for blankets
  • Bathroom storage basket
  • Declutter your living room
  • Bedroom woven hamper

Your unique Kenyan sisal basket was handwoven by a cooperative of women weavers in Kenya. We first met these groups in 2010, and have travelled to directly hand-pick their baskets ever since. These talented teams of women equally split their earnings between them, ensuring fairness and continued support for every weaver. We value our ongoing relationships and partnerships with these incredible groups.
