Our Favourite Home Trends for Summer 2024

The new season always brings with it the opportunity to refresh different rooms and give spaces a much-needed update. From botanical prints that celebrate the beauty of nature to Mediterranean-inspired textures, here are the key interiors looks to introduce into your space this Summer.

Botanical Beauty

Botanical patterns are excellent for bringing the outside in, and can create a calming space or lean towards something more playful. When picking out your botanical prints, scale is important. The larger the print, the more bold the look. If you want a restful space, pick a delicate print in neutral colours. If you want a more energizing space, pick a large-scale print in vibrant colours. For a really quick botanical update, don’t forget you can introduce a new houseplant to your space. We particularly love the look of a fern displayed in a woven basket to add a natural touch.

Radiant Red

This season's hero colour is red! From fresh tomato hues to deeply rich burgundy shades, red is the colour to incorporate into your home. This warming shade looks particularly good in cosy spaces such as living rooms and bedrooms. A great way to incorporate this season's hottest colour into your home is through accessories such as textiles, ceramics and light shades.

Mediterranean Inspirations

As the days become brighter and longer, we're making the most of Summer by welcoming the Mediterranean vibes into our homes. Create that laid-back summer look by layering up natural materials such as cotton, linen and wicker. And don't forget to add some home fragrance to really transport you to a beautiful Mediterranean town.

Check it Out

Gingham and check prints are having a big moment, and we are loving it. Geometric motifs are an enduring trend, so we don't see this one disappearing any time soon. Small accessories like throws, ceramics and even storage baskets are a fantastic way to start introducing some cool check prints into your own home. Go bold with monochromatic designs or keep it classic with colourful prints.

Zesty Citrus Tones

Over the past few years, many of us have gone bolder with our use of colour in our homes, and this Summer is no different! Vibrant citrus shades of lemon and lime create a refreshing colour combination that is soaring in popularity. Give your space an upbeat feel by introducing these fresh tones.
