Kenyan hand carved soapstone vase. This small and delicate vase was designed by our co-founder Amy. A sweet sculpture with beautiful simplicity. The curved daisy petals compliment the engraved vertical line-work, creating a wonderful balance between contrasting details. The soapstone is ethically sourced by our talented group of Kenyan artisans.
The inside is porous, so they are best suited to dried flowers and foliage.
Soapstone is a beautifully tactile metamorphic rock with a marble-like appearance. The natural variations in the surface are part of its distinctive charm. Soapstone is a natural material; therefore, each piece will have varied colours and patterns.
Our soapstone products are polished and treated with natural beeswax.
