At 60cm wide, the Indian Toile saucer has the scale to carry a complex pattern like this. Amy's detailed scenic toile where Indian figures, exotic plants, vehicles and animals unfold across the full width of the shade in a way that makes it as much an artwork as a light fitting.
Hand-screen-printed onto FSC-certified recycled paper by Mohit's Sedex-certified team in Jaipur, folded by hand, and heat-laminated for durability. Amy works directly with Nishant on the colour mixing when she visits — it's a collaborative process that has been running for years and shows in the quality of the result.
The saucer shape works over a dining table above all else, the wide, low silhouette directs light downward beautifully. Also excellent in a wide hallway or as the main light in a sitting room. Arrives in a hand-printed story box: a genuinely special new home gift.
